Willard Bay Report 4/5/15
#1
I started my fishing day at 9 and fished until 2 ish. I launched at the north marina and usually head counter-clockwise around the bay until I find the fish. Yesterday, I went clock-wise and that was a bad move. I caught one walleye by the island. I made it to the north dike at around 2 (When I had to leave). Lo and behold, that is where all the wipers were chilling out. It was fish on for 20 minutes. Left with 2. Could have caught a ton if I could have stayed, but Easter dinner was waiting. All fish caught on fire tiger shad. Trolling speed of 3 mph.

One thing of note, when I arrived at the north dike area, there were 4 boats there. I caught 2 fish and it seemed like every boat on the lake moved there. I couldn't even get back into my trolling zone. I wonder sometimes if people are watching with binoculars. Haha.
