Strawberry Report - Friday 4/10
#1
We fished the soldier creek side today. The morning started off slow trolling the shoreline. The action picked up when we went back into the coves and ran a figure 8 pattern. The majority of the action came on luckycraft pointers pulled behind planer boards to get the lure away from the boat. The biggest fish of the day (22" cut) came on the downrigger at 22' on a Smile blade worm rig. The rest of the fish were smallish to mid-size bows. Around 3pm we parked in the middle of a cove and caught a ton of small bows on tiny white jigs.

Soldier creek side 100% ice free, no docks of any type in yet, but some crews were prepping them on the shore. The strawberry side was mostly clear but there was still about 15% ice cover opposite of the marina.
