Tibble Fork Tiger Trout
#1
Anyone ever caught a tiger trout out of Tibble Fork? I caught my second one of the year tonight and was just curious if they are the rare natural tiger, bucket biologists or if the DNR has stocked it with tigers that isn't posted on their website...

Tibble has a self sustaining population of brookies and browns which makes natural a possibility but I'm not buying into it considering it's a very rare breed. Trying to think where they may have come from otherwise and I just don't see if possible anywhere. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've never caught a tiger out there in the past 9 years I've been fishing there for. Only caught mainly rainbow, brook, and browns.

Any pictures of the tiger?

Picture fresh from tonight attached. I've caught quite few tiger trout and I think their is little doubt this is one...

Caught off the far west side, just to the side of the dam on a 20 parachute adams...

Nice I just wonder when they stocked them in there. It's sure is the first tiger I've ever seen getting pulled out of there.

Definite tiger, definite hatchery product.

Wild tiger trout do occur, but as has been mentioned... extremely rare.
