Wanda and I made it out two times today in search of Shellcrackers. We found them in an old place, but they were not very big. The morning trip yielded 13 Shellies between 8 and 9.5 inches long. The late afternoon trip for 1.5 hours yielded another 8 crackers between 8 and 9.5 inches. Like I said, there were no big ones in this area. Need to check other areas I guess. We caught a bunch of little crackers, but only kept them if they were at least 8" long. I can fillet fish of that size. Had a mess of them for supper and let me tell you, if there is a better fish to eat, I can't think of one. Even better than our Stripers.<br /><br />We also saw a lonesome stranger that was probably lost. A big pelican sitting on a foundation and looking very . We tried to feed him a cracker, but he just flew off. That is our story and we are sticking to it. emoBig emoGeezer
