[font "Comic Sans MS"][#800000]I talked with the Cache County CO about several things concerning Mantua. The fishing license not in the system could have been from several different causes which are to numerous to list. But one could have been not putting in the information correctly. Remember, computers only see what you put in. They cannot think and if just one character is put in incorrectly, there WILL be a rejection as invalid. The CO I talked to had an incident similar to the license bought two days prior. The CO tried to look up the license from the fisherman’s verbal input and it wasn’t in the system. When looking at the printed receipt it was discovered the last name was spelled incorrectly. Stuff happens.
He wasn’t aware of the 100ft rule because it is not a state guidebook rule. His guess is it is a Mantua City ordinance.
