SD Walleyes
#1
Hey fellas,

I hope all is well back in Idaho. I don't post much here these days but I still lurk quite a bit to see how fishing is going out west. I can't help but think back to this time of year when I was living in Boise. I'd probably be trolling for those huge Arrowrock Kokanee. They were a blast.

I know walleyes are taboo on BFT Idaho and many of you despise them. I'm a walleye guy through and through. Outside of family, they are my passion in life.

Here is a video we did on one of my local lakes here in SD. The bite was rockin! Enjoy...

Thanks for sharing!!!

As a transplant from South Dakota who spent the better part of my first 40 years chasing fish all over the eastern part of that state, all I can say is THANKS! Oh how I miss being able to get out and easily have access to so many bodies of water that offer so many different types of fish! Watching that video really takes me back to all of those trips that were usually productive and ended with a mess of fillets that would get fried up, along with potatoes and onions. Getting hungry thinking about it!

Great video... keep em coming!

No problem.

There are definitely no shortage of lakes to fish in my part of the state. Most of these lakes have thriving walleye, perch, northern pike, smallmouth bass, bluegill, and crappie populations. It's pretty neat to catch several different species, all of quality size, on any given day.

Thanks for the kind words.
