once again Yellowstone didn't disappoint! only 2 other boats on the entire lake. landed over 50 fish, at one time we had all 5 rods hooked up!. Brought home 23 lakers. biggest was 12lbs, had one at 10lbs, 2 at 8lbs the rest between 2-6lbs. all cutts were 18-27". didn't weigh the curtties but they were thick/healthy fish!

I'm considering going to Yellowstone for the Lakers this weekend. Any suggestions for an area of the lake for either shore or float tube fishing? Pm is fine if you want. I was reconsidering until I saw those amazing pics then I decided I really need to make the trip!

Fee is less for non-motorized boats and floattubes.
$5/7days or $10 for season

I tried to get up there too, but I have a broken boat. Hopefully, I can get up there this next week. It looks like they were taking the usual "Yellowstone special"? Jakes spin a lure? Correct? And were you fishing up against the shore in pretty shallow water?

How deep are the lakers running by late July early August. That is when I will finally make it up there for a few days.
