Went to the Soldier Creek side on Saturday and launched at about 7:30am. I landed an nice slot Cutt in the first 5 minutes of trolling using nightrcrawler and dodger.
I fished mainly the eastern shore toward Hwy 40. I fished awhile with leadcore at about 20 feet down and caught a couple of small Bows. I switched to two rod with dodgeers and crawlers and at the end of the day I landed 39 fish. The one Cutt and 38 small Rainbows. The little guys put up a better fight that 90% of the Cutts I normally catch. The weather was really nice with very little wind. It was a good first trip to the Berry this year.
