Kokanee's at Strawberry

How long can you catch kokanee's at Strawberry trolling? Right up until they spawn? Also when do the salmon start showing up in the bays of Mud Creek and the Ladders?

I believe Labor Day weekend is the last hurrah for the Berry Koke's - the fish tend to spawn over in the strawberry river and the DWR has a viewing day in September of the Kokes they have caught in the holding cement pond.

I have caught a few after Aug 1st; however, they seem to be more difficult to catch after this date at Strawberry for me.

Like OFC said. the end of july Kokes are hard for me to get
then it is time to hit FG.

I caught one at chicken creek west from shore on yellow garlic power bait, september 10th a couple years ago.
