lower Ogden river 6/4/15
#1
The wife and I spent a few hours fishing between Washington and Harrison.
They usually like the fish shaped spinners but today the were taking jigs, flies and spoons. We got 2 each.
Our biggest was 12" but we saw some that had to be bigger swimming around.
I think the best thing about this area is the ease of access, and on a good day you can see the fish.

Nice, nothing like a little action to keep you going back. I've heard there are some decent Browns in the lower Ogden.

I've heard that too, but all I've seen so far are rainbows.
I'm hoping to catch some eventually though.

I got 4 more today. All around 11"-12"
They didn't seem interested in my lures today, but the kids down stream from me were pulling them in hand over first.
I couldn't believe it when they showed me the kraft cheese they were using as bait. Sure enough, I barrowed a slice and got 3 decent fish in under 30 minutes.
Not bad.

Yeah I remember days of my youth you could buy bait bottles of nothing but some cheese substance. Velveeta is supposed to be good too.
