Did a soggy launch at 6:30 on UL. Why soggy, it was raining! It wasn't long until my dad brought in the first first fish of the day, a little Mud Cat. Followed by, a 21" Channel Cat. Then I caught my very first cat fish, a Channel Cat that was a good 23". Then I caught a 22" channel at 7.2 ft. of water. Just before we got blown out of the water at 10:30, I caught a really good size fish, but it was so big that the line broke. Then when we were getting blown off the water, I caught a mud cat! Then we went to the stake park to replenish our bait, we joined all the bank tanglers in combat formation. I caught one White Bass to start the fishes, then my dad caught 4 more White Bass and one Mud Cat.[fishin]

Very Good job little fish. I loved your report. Sounds like you had a good day on the water with your dad. But any day on the water with dad is a good one. I think I will try it down there tomorrow. Keep fishing,

Yeah the winds can really get going there. At 10 we had hard winds with white caps. I always look at weather reports showing the wind speeds. Yeah they can be wrong but I find the mornings are the best, afternoons can really get windy.
