Finally out fished the boy

We hit the Island at 10 am and we were getting bites within minutes of our baits hitting the water. AND for a change I caught more than the boy, was getting tired of him badmouthing me about my fishing skills! 16 cats for me and only 7 for the little puke! Although he did also land 3 mud cats and 1 white bass along with his 7 channels. Every thing was caught on either white bass or shrimp.

I usually try to assure that my kids out fish me, its an investment in continued fishing buddies for life. Not much cuter than a squealing little girl reeling in a 15 pound laker or a 8 pound catfish.
