No boat, Girlfriend and I headed up to Soldier Creek with one of her daughters and a nephew and fished from the shore.

We were using Powerbait (Corn, Salmon Egg, Rainbow Garlic) just depended on which one of us.

Arrived at 6 am, and cast out, almost immediately we start getting slammed with the Corn Powerbait, hit after hit and we finally land the first.

It goes this way throughout the day as we land about 1 an hour, plus several crawdads.

But the last one was our grandaddy of them all for the day. My girlfriends daughter lands a 19" Rainbow that weighed close to 3.5 lbs. It was a fun fight for her and I had to coach her through getting it in as she just wanted to real it in fast the entire time and it wasn't allowing for it.

We brought home 8, including the big one as I like to smoke the trout on my smoker.
