First report so bear with me. <br /><br />Struck out at our first spot, main river ledge that I thought had grass on the deep side. That grass turned out to be brush and ended up losing a few lures.<br /><br />The second spot seemed a little more promising with a ton of bait hanging on a ledge between 8-25&#39;. Ended up picking up a small keeper out of the grass on a worm first cast, then nothing. That didn&#39;t stop some good sized fish from schooling, they were chasing that bait hard and jumping clean out of the water. We threw the sink at them cranks, worms and jigs nada. emoScratch <br />That is the third time that has happened to me, I will figure them out one day. Finished that spot with another small keeper off a jig in the grass.<br /><br />We hit our third spot about 45 mins before sunset. Small grass flat in 6-8&#39; with a shaky head. Managed 4 fish between 4-5 lbs and lost one in that range at the boat. GF managed her PB largemouth at right at 5 lbs. A PB always makes for a good trip not matater how big it is. <br />EmoBig
