I'm just wondering how the fishing is at Huntington state park.I'm going to be on ferron in about 3 weeks and planning on fishing here for a day.never been but I will have kids with me and figure that will be maybe the best place to fish. Any idea on where and how to fish there?we will be shore fishing when we go.any idea on what's good for bass. I have allot of stuff for bass. Just not sure what's all in there so don't know what's good to use.thanks for any info

[#0000FF]On the recent Hooked on Utah show they started out fishing largemouths along the rip rap of the dam. They caught a few decent fish both on Senkos and on diving crankbaits...throwing right in close to the rocks.
After that it was trolling in about 20 feet of water with assorted cranks...for wipers, trout and "suckers" (chubs).
The wipers should be reachable from shore in many places...with spoons, cranks and leadhead jigs. White is always a good color.
There are also some good cats there. Fish the standard kitty baits on the bottom.
Good luck.
