Berry Report for 7-25
#1
Hit it Saturday got on the water around 7 ran up towards the knoll. attached are few pic of the cuts we caught. HAHA as we were driving up I was talking to my partner about the cool DAV event that we are going to have to go to next year and he said you are doing it today I knew my partner was retired air force but did not knoiw he was disabled vet. Anyways we had slow Kok day with one small one late afternoon but had 20 or more Cuts in the slot from 15 to 22. Chrome dodger with matrix and white hoochie is what we caught the one kok on, I throw everything I had at them with no luck other than the cuts loved them all. we had a 1 double and few back to backs but for the most part it was one here one there.

We did the same thing except we fished Friday and Saturday with the exact same results. Very disappointing

We were there also, we boxed 7 kokes and turned back about 30 cuts. We were using Chrisensens chrome or brass hyper plaid dodgers and his green or orange squids. Going slow 1.2 to 1.4 slow koke day but its fishin...Smile

Fished the Berry Friday, Saturday and Sunday for cutts over by the Knolls. Caught several, too many to keep track of. Caught them with tube jigs tiped with Shiner. Found them tight to the bottom in 40'-55' of water. Caught 4 over the slot.attached is a pic of a 24 incher.

I was there Friday and Saturday too. On my pontoon with a Type 3 line. No cutts but nice thick bows.
