mirror lake newbie ???

so i've never been to mirror lake. some friends & family are going up there the last weekend in august. can anyone give me some guidance/pointers/help on what works up there. please...

Welcome to BFT! Try red and white spoons, fly and a bubble with woolly buggers and Mosquitos. These work well.

My favorite lure in the Uintas is a Jakes filled with powerbait for a little scent. If you get a chance to hike a little bit, there a bunch of lakes within a mile or two from the highway that'll have much less traffic. We drove past Mirror lake on Saturday and it looked like shoulder to shoulder bank tangling!
