John Litt, a well-versed fisherman, from Christie Digital, a multinational company, along with his guests chartered the Topshotfishing team to do some deep sea big game sport fishing in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Wahoo was caught over one of the artificial wrecks in 190 ft. of water in Fort Lauderdale. As the plainer rod bent over with the line exiting at a fast rate and the rod bouncing up and down, it was a good indication that a Wahoo was at the end of the line. John hopped into the fighting chair and the tug of war began with the line going in and out of the reel numerous times; the fight lasted twenty minutes. Finally the deep blue and silver stripped torpedo made his appearance as our mate wired him, gaffed the fish and put it into the boat. The razor sharp teeth of the Wahoo kept snapping looking for something to set his teeth in. The Wahoo measured out to be 71” and weighed 70 lbs.
