There are walleye being taken off out of the mouth of the Saginaw River, Linwood Road & Pinconning Road. There are also fishermen on the River, but use caution when fishing the Saginaw River , it has the dam up river and makes the ice unstable . There hasn't been much perch action to speak of , but our hopes are up that they will start hitting soon .

On Houghton Lake the pike are biting pretty good, walleye have started to bite the last couple days and the crappie are still hitting" off and on" by the cut river, bluegill fishing has been slow for the lake.

On Wiggens lake the pike and gill fishing are up to par above my honey hole , but the heavy snow is pushing the water up and out of your holes as it dose on most of the lakes around here . there's still good walleye out of sugar springs and the pike are kinda slow over on lake 4 .
