Water level super low. Casting various jigs not too far from the dam area. Found a giant school of smallies and could not keep them off. Biggest one was maybe 12 inches. Nothing big, but better than nothing.

When the sun went behind the ridge, the fish started rising like crazy all around. They were rising beyond the furthest from where we could cast on shore so could not get into whatever was rising.... thinking bows.

Spotted a pretty large smallie cruising the bank. I threw on a mouse pattern hoping for that top water smash, but had a bow come at it instead.
