working for me trolling at Strawberry
#1
Would like to share with you what is working for me trolling this time of year
I don't see a lot trolling, more jigging but I think my catch rate is up there with the jiggers
so look at the Pictures below.
I have fished with some members from BFT this year and I have had fun with all of them and learned a lot from them.

This has nothing to do with fishing but My Daughter (she is 48 years old) is doing a IRONMAN in ARIZONA this is one of the bigger ironman in the USA
so far; her time
swim

2.4 mi Time 1:13:46 hr; Place 26

BIKE DETAILS
Total 112 mi;; Time 6.03:33 hr; speed 18.48 mi/h place 23

RUN DETAILS

She just started the Run, it is 26.20 mi long she needs to move if she is going to get in the top ten.

You maybe able to click on the Picture and zoom in. that way you can see the hooks.

Thanks again Robert for my being one of the lucky ones that got to fish with you. You've been really helpful in sharing your knowledge.

That fog looks just like the day we went together in your boat.

I made up a couple of those white tube jig rigs like that one, after you showed me yours, and it caught most of the fish the day I tried it.

Holy cow, that's impressive that your daughter can do that at all. There's never been a day in my life I could have done anything like that.

I put my boats up for the winter today. It always makes me depressed to winterize the boats and camping trailer, knowing it's all over for the season. I'm already anxious for next year's koke and laker fishing!

I've thought of pulling a tube similar to what you show there. Perhaps I can get out one more time this year to give it a go.

Question: Are you running those behind a downrigger to get right near the bottom? Or are you higher in the water column?

Thanks for the pics and sharing.

I use a downrigger and fish finder and try to put it just above the fish
If you can't see the fish they may be on the bottom or up in the 10 ft water
here is a chart that may help to get it down.
