Deer Creek

Anyone fish Deer Creek on a float tube or one man pontoon boat? I always drive past it on my way to Strawberry and I'm tempted to stop one day and give it a try.

It is fishing really good for trout right now. They are some nice ones coming out. If you do put a vessel on it, you do have to decontaminated or wait the alloted time. I am finishing my fishing year this year at Deer Creek and will not put my tube on another lake until spring. I wish I could fool a walleye or two before the year is out. I have done okay, picking up an occasional walleye in the spring and summer, not so much in the fall or winter.
