Strawberry, Fishlake, Starvation, Otter Creek, Mantua, Causey, Pineview, Deer Creek, Current Creek & Scofield. Those are a few. There are lots more. Decide what you are targeting and then choose the water.

I'd like to try and pull a fat wiper or eye outta the ice at Willard sometime, that sounds like a blast! What technique does one ice fish Willard? There hasn't been good enough ice out there since I moved back to give it a try...

Mostly fish Willard in the winter for crappie but wiper can be caught on jigs tipped with worms or some form of bait

Yes I have but never in large numbers. 2 years ago, when we had good ice at Willard we were catching them up to 13", small ones were 11".

If you're interested, you should give the Utah Ice Fishing Challenge a try this ice season. It is a fun motivator to fish different lakes targeting different species.
Rules and sign-up are on the Utah Contests board.
