Burbot is this a good time?

I was wondering is this a good time of year to take a boat up for burbot? If so where can you launch?

No place today! Open water all the way to Buckboard though. Best burbot fishing is up north, launch at Buckboard, or Squaw Hollow/Holmes Crossing/Brinegars or whatever they decide to call it this month.
