Figured that even though there is not a lot of boatable water right now it is wise to get that done as soon as possible. Better than remembering after you make your first trip to the lake...and there are no forms in the box.

Also a good time to check fishing licenses for expiration dates. DWR always seems to write a few tickets early in the year...for the forgetful. In the olden days our licenses were all beginning the first of the year. Now that they can be anytime of the year it is wise to make sure you don't slide past the renewal date.
