Hit it this morning. Made the hike down the rocks at one of the pull offs near the dam with a couple buddies. Hiked across the lake to the cliffs. Got into perch pretty fast in 50 FOW. Left at 12:00 because it was too dang cold and I was tired of taking small ones off the line and freezing my fingers. Lots of small perch 4"-6" and a few that were around 10". Ice was 6"-8" thick all the way across. Good luck, you gotta earn it if you want to get there and fish.

Nice meeting you this morning Captain. I did okay where you directed me today. Ended up with about a dozen perch at 26 feet in 7-8 inch class and 5 slimers to 16 inches. The trout were only 5-8 feet down. So not quite the luck you had, but still a fun day. I left at 2:30 but should've left 2 hours sooner because the bite shut down. I was unable to stay on the perch school. But they were hardly worth filleting today anyhow. I will be back... great to see this lake on the mend.
