Holmes Creek Update

Holmes creek reservoir continues to be very slow fishing. I have caught 1 fish there the whole week, caught it right next to the small shore dock on a gizzy. Has anybody had any decent fishing there lately?

I went up there Monday morning for a few hours and didn't get a single bite. Took my youngest son and had 3 poles at varying depths. Ice was in great shape though.

Was there a couple of weeks ago only one bite. very different than previous years.

I have been doing well in the afternoons just off the north shore. 7 feet of water and a meal worm or wax worm. I have only been catching rainbows and an occasional gill.

About how many fish per day?

I went up there I the 8th of January and caught 22 slimers but nothing else. All at about 7 to 9 feet under the ice in 18 fow.
