Fished Otter Creek with a couple buddies on 2-12-16. Got there about 7 and fished till about 3. Fishing was really good early and then tapered off by 11. After 11 the fishing was slower, but we still caught fish.
Fished the north end in 18 FOW. Several of the fish liked the 9-10 suspended depth, and lots were right close to the bottom.
Three of us caught between 30-40 or so. Nothing huge, but lots of healthy 18-20" fish. Ice was 18" thick and no slush.
White jigs, pink jigs and small ice flies all tipped with wax worms seemed to work. Got bored and switched to a pink forage minnow and even caught a couple on it as well.
I'm jealous of all you guys that live in central Utah, and have Panguitch, Otter Creek, Fish Lake, Minersville to fish so close to home!
