Float tube setup
#1
Been itching for open water now with this great weather, so I am making the best of it. Started with the basics. Decent rod holder setup, built custom under $10 from home depot. Attached it using 2 carabiners on top and 2 bungee straps wrapping underneath to the inside D rings. Forward holder swivels as well for ease of use.

The fish finder is a wireless unit that goes to my phone. Fits perfectly behind me I the top pocket. I may find time to head down to St. George for some crappie and bass action.

If you have more ideas or want more pictures I'll be more than happy for both!

I'm curious, how long does the phone battery last when using it as the display?

With my phone on with the brightness at 100% and running wifi. It will last 3-4 hours. so I carry a second battery. If it is a longer trip I will bring my goal zero to charge my second battery.

I love my sonar phone. I use it with my 10 inch tablet on my pontoon. It works great. I also take an extra batt.
