Was up there this morning near the marina. No slush, 14" of ice, but not 4-wheeler friendly. Deep snow getting to and from the ice.

If you went on the lake at the marina a wheeler would be fine, but like suspicious wind said, if you don't follow a well maintained trail to access the lake, the snow is too deep for a wheeler. There was hardly any slush today on the actual lake.

I fished near the marina today and saw a few 4-wheelers out on the ice. They didn't seem to be having any trouble, there was even a sport quad that rode to other side near the tunnel.

We were all over the Soldier Creek side walking out from the parking lot near the Road to the dam. What used to be slush is ice now. Many four wheelers and snow mobiles out there yesterday. It's a nice solid ice crust now.

We took a wheeler from the marina all the way to renegade on Saturday with no problems, we hit a couple tiny slush spots that barely slowed us down on the way back at 4:00 pm

I went to Renegade on snowmobiles on Saturday. On the way back to the Marina at about 1:30pm we found some guys and kids in a 5 seater side by side that was stuck in the slush (near south entrance to narrows). We helped for about an hour to get them going again but in the end we shuttled them all back to the parking lot and left the wheeler on the ice. I hope they were successful on Sunday morning getting it out once the slush froze up again. Despite the favorable reports, the slush is softening during the afternoon. Be careful.
