Did get to go , made some new friends , had one landed and released .
That's all it takes , just hooking into one that gets my heart pumping .
On the ride to the AuSable , seen one bald eagle , a dozen deer in the road that took their good sweet time crossing , and then a field full of Canadian geese .
It was a great trip .
