Daniels open water

Is there any open water? My tube has been itchin to get out!

For what it's worth, I drove past Devil Creek on Sunday and it had 50ish ft (I'm terrible with distances) of open water at the boat ramp and dam. Folks were fishing from the ramp.

Not sure about Daniels, but I did a lake scouting trip yesterday around Preston. Johnson, Lamont, Glendale, Foster, Winder and Twin are all completely open, and many are close to full already. Weston still has ice over most of it, but there is a large gap along the bank.

The water is 100 percent ice free and stained brown. Fishing was slow today.

I've been up there early before and it takes a couple of weeks for the water to clear up after the ice comes off.
