I opened the back of my Yamaha to change the pressure relief valve and it did not look anything like the
older model schematic. BBC to the rescue Found photo by photo disassembly with a write up and comments..

Underneath the wiring loom is the pesky pressure relief valve. With a few tools is an OK - job to do instead of paying your local marine mechanic.
