New from Tampa

Hello all, I am new to here and also new to Florida. Just recently moved to Tampa by way of Kentucky and this is all brand new to me. I enjoy freshwater fishing and never tackled saltwater before so I am a bit overwhelmed but excited. Hoping to have some great adventures soon.

There is lots of freshwater fishing in Fl, in case you don't want to just right into saltwater fishing right away. The moderator on the Fl board, mainly fishes freshwater, so I'm sure you could ask him, if you have question about what to use and areas to try. Good luck, hope you enjoy Fl.

Welcome aboard and thanks for sharing with us. There is tons of good fishing in Tampa. Check for some good tips on the Florida board. I have fished all up and down all the shorelines of Florida. I can give you some good tips for any species that you decide to target.
