Hello everyone, i am new to this but i am trying to get feedback good/bad on a what everyone's thoughts would be if they all had access to legal, quality, live bait. I have read multiple threads and some of the info has been pretty old. I know what most ppl will say but i can tell you this, i have been doing my homework and when i say that i have been in contact with the NDOW on this subject, so my information is correct. Would it be something you would be interested in? I love fishing and have been doing it seems all my life. I have fished west coast and east coast and even in hawaii. The laws are different in every state but generally close to the same. The one difference i do see though is bait or lack there of. So let me know what you all think. I am located here in Las Vegas,Nevada just for context.

Welcome to the site Tinos. Not sure about what type of live bait you are taking about but in my state, it is illegal to use live minnows as bait. By the way, have you found our Nv board? If not here is a link to it:

Hi Tinosbait and welcome to the site.

I concur that live bait is a tricky issue all around the US. What is allowed in one state is not in another.

Live nightcrawlers are pretty much allowed anywhere and Crawdads are one of the best live baits in the westernmost states.

Some prefer to use the imitations instead just in case there may be a problem.

Huddleston and Castaic Baits make so many different types of imitations that even the "Real" baits can get . [cool]
