Minnesota transplant
#1
Hey everyone, I'm moving out to Boise for the summer to start my transformation from a teacher to a biochemist. I'm from northern Minnesota and do a ton of fishing for multiple species up here. I'm big into crappie and pike in the winter time. Once spring rolls around I get into lake sturgeon (and later, large and small mouth bass) and then in the summer I get into muskie. I just picked up stream trout fishing this spring being that I'll need to know a little what I'm doing once I get out to Boise. I guess I'm just looking for information on the fishing around there. I only have class from Monday through Thursday so I'll be spending just about every weekend fishing. I'm REALLY interested in hooking into a big White Sturg to compare them to the "big" lake sturgeon I've caught. And I'd also like to head back to MN in August feeling like a trout fisherman. If anyone could share some sturgeon info (I've done quite a bit of research but I trust word of mouth better than internet articles) or any way I can go about getting started fishing for trout that would be awesome!! PM me if you can shoot me any info!! Anyone looking for a fishing buddy for the next couple months should hit me up too!! Can't wait to get out there and get going [cool][fishon]
