Blackfoot Res info needed
#1
In an effort to explore new fishing waters we are going to head to Blackfoot reservoir this weekend to try our luck.

From the information I have gathered online it sounds like some of the boat ramps are not usable some years due to low water conditions.

We are coming from Bear Lake valley and I was looking at the south boat ramp or Hopkins Landing to launch, just not sure where would be the best option in the current condition of the reservoir.

I would really appreciate any input a friendly BFT brother would be willing to lend regarding locations, tactics or advise. Please DM me if you do not want to share with the general public [Wink].

Thanks in advance

Water levels are up this year, should be able to launch at any boat ramp. Fishing had been very slow the last couple of weeks.

You are right about the bite being slow. We launched at Hopkins Landing about 7am last Saturday and fished for several hours without even a bite.
