Today was a day of "Old Time" memories and had a blast creating some new memories. I got out with a friend that I grew up fishing with as children. We use to fish our uncles ponds and the Flat Rock Creek with our push button 202's n 33's and would always catch a lot of Bream and Rock Bass, but when we got into Largemouths it made our bicycle rides to these places a little more special. Now here we are a few, and I mean "A FEW" years later and our equipment is a little more updated and just a tad bit more expensive, fishing again for some "Big-G Bass". We fished shallow grass(2-4 ft.), and deeper grass(8-10 ft.), and had fairly good success in most of the areas we fished. We used Choo Choo Lures Swimjigs and Producer Swimbaits and the fish ate them both pretty well. We paired these baits up with Extra Heavy Hammer Rods and 20 lb. Vicious EXACT Line. This was a great day with a long time friend and some great memories of a few "Big-G Hawgs", and a little ribbing of the ones that got away, well at least I was laughing! Get out and have some fun and create some memories. Mike Carter
