Oakland has a coach

Norv Turner will now lead the silver and black. Still no word on the status of Jerry, Tim and Rich though. I wish Art Shell would have came back!

He's a local boy too. Think he grew up in Martinez. Hope he stays on Al's good side.. Now lets see what players he has to work with.. Hope jerry, tim and rich stay around.

Yes, he is from Martinez.

Jerry and Tim have both expressed they are still hungry and have no plans for retirement. I take it the same goes for Rich as he was eager to start throwing as soon as he is able. I think they should keep them and go for defense in the draft.

I heard Gannon wants to play in Tampa. Maybe a bad rumor, but I hope they get Eli Manning or Larry Fitzgerald in the Draft.

I dont think Gannon would gain anything going to T.B.. Younger brothers never seem to hold up to the hype in sports. Ozzie Canseco or Giambi's little bro ring a bell lol. I see Mark Brunells name is in the mix. We need defense! [Wink]

[#c70d03]being a long time miami fan ,i hated to see norv leave.the man wasa good offense coach,he know has a little more head coaching expernice then when he was with washington.i really think he going to totally revamp the offense, get rid of cannon to start with, shoreup a weak defense.course raider fans should not expect much in the next year, but i think that norv stands a good chance of turning this team around.[/#c70d03]
