Very nice. What I caught to day made me excited, can only imagine what it would be like to once again catch a cat in the 10# range.

Hey, very well done! Both interesting and informative. Gotta tip my grungy old carp-stained hat to ya.
Sure wish we had some rushes to fish at UL... nothing but mud flats now. Still, the cats are there -- just have to look for 'em in different places.
Again, well done and good luck to ya.

Very well done. Lots of that scenery looks familiar.
Think it's time for a trip up that way myself.
Did you post any of those for the Cat fishing Contest ?

Be curious to know how folks are doing on the cats from shore.
Last year I did fairly well, and this year has been a real struggle. I primarily fish the west side of the lake.

Fishing from a boat has its advantages. Especially with very limited shore fishing access. good luck!

Thanks for the video. I appreciated the reminder to fish shallow and close to the bank this time of year.
After work today, I shot down to a local access point at Cutler, and fished for about 45 minutes. In that time, I fished shrimp, cast close down the bank. I got a 10 inch bullhead, then two channel cats, 21 and 19 inches respectively.
No monsters, but fun tugs anyway.
The wind came up hard about 6, so I called it a success and went on home.
