Muskrat, Chickamauga, bass, 06/06/16, solo
#1
A short solo bass trip Monday afternoon. The water temperature touched 86 degrees. I fished a couple of deep water banks and points and some offshore fishing. Just a little current and no wind. I've had some big Bomber Fat Free Shad BD6 and BD8 crankbaits that I haven't used much so I decided today was the day. Chunk and wind....chunk and wind...chunk and wind. How does KVD fish the Strike King 8 and 10XD's all day -- day after day sometimes ? Sheesh !

I caught a few bass including a smallmouth but some weren't much larger than my crankbait - see pic. I did get a hung lure back with my BPS lure retriever so I did have some success on my trip. I don't think I'll be doing much more cranking until we get more current or at least some wind. I need to take it easy with a "shakey" or a big worm.
