I just read a recent newsletter about the Chinook Salmon fishing in the Clearwater Region and it is sounding like F&G is having an access problem due to a few bad apples not cleaning up after themselves. This particular river is very dependent on how we behave ourselves and the landowner is having doubts as to why he even allows us on his property if we treat it the way that we have.
Most of us already do this, but maybe this year we make a resolution to take a garbage bag with us on each trip and leave the area better than when we arrived. We are lucky enough to fish a lot of the areas that we do and it would be a shame to lose privileges to the locations that we enjoy.
We have it too good here in Idaho to let it get trashed. It causes a lot of different issues. Thanks to all those that already do this on a regular basis. Trust me, even if it is tedious you always feel better about it 100% of the time.
