Gorge boat inspection?

Do you still have to stop in Wyoming and get your boat inspected at the Port of Entrance in Wyoming? Or can I go to Deer Creek and get decontaminated there? Also, where is the best place to get a boat sticker?

Yes you have to stop at the port of entry. The boat stickers can be purchased online or at any place that sells licenses.

you only have to stop at the wyomimg port of entry if it is open , if it is not open you can get inspected at the lake , p/s you have to stop if they are open even if you have a decon from somewhere else.

Just went to gorge last thursday. Didn't take 10 minutes to get checked and on my way. Dropped motor to make sure no water. Will check your live wells if you use them. Write down your hull number and put a seal on your boat. Hand you a yellow slip and off you go. Don't forget to go online with your yellow slip and get in wyo drawing for prizes at end of year. Have fun, /fishing was slow but won't complain I got to fish.
