Flaming Gorge with Scouts

Was at Flaming Gorge from 7/25 to 7/30/2016 with the scouts
about 25 kids and 13 older men.

we camped at Mustang ridge

we got most out fishing that wanted to go.
For me fishing was slow but every one that went out got a fish.
I don't know anything about fishing the Utah side so finding the fish was luck and using the fish finder.

Looking at a map I found this spot and we got 3 big Lakers
a 30, 22 and 18 lbers. all trolling the 30 lb Laker was 42 inches long

the bad thing is I took pictures with my GoPro
no one else had a camera
some one in camp had a lap top but something happened, stuff that I had on the sd card from all summer were gone
so the kids will never have any thing to show them a catch of a life time.
They wanted to keep the Lake Trout but I talked them into putting them back in the water.

I guess the good news is that without photo evidence the fish can grow larger each year in their minds.

I've herd rumors of Day's at the gorge that the( W) doesn't blow, and now after seeing the water in the background of your first pic I may believe it. Or was that a pic of somewhere else? Lol sounds like a great trip for the scouts :-)
