East Canyon

[cool]Has anyone been to East Canyon lately? Thinking about trying it this weekend. If so, where is the best place to fish and how thick is the ice?

I was up there last week, we did OK. We moved around a couple of times, and didn't find anyplace that was really hot. The ice is pleny think all across the lake. 6-8 inches last week. Good luck if you go.

I haven't fished there yet this year. I am hoping to go this weekend. We fished it alot through the ice last year and we found that they were suspended. We would even watch them hit our lures down the hole. Mostly used a jighead with a nightcrawler. Sometimes they would hit powerbait. Let us know how it goes.
