kids and crayfish question

I plan to take a bunch of kids crayfish catching and wondered if they are in Echo, and where would be the best spot to take them. I know they are in Strawberry but thats twice as far for me. Any help wouldbe appreciated.

There are a bunch in Lost Creek, the same distance as Echo. I've seen tons just on the first turnout by the dam. Chicken on a string works if you don't have traps

I set out a trap last Year at echo overnight and didn't catch a thing. I did see 1 old crayfish shell in the rocks but the catching wasn't worth the drive for me. East Canyon has allot of crayfish.
