Lake Phelps!

Anyone fish this lake. Only an hour from my house and it looks great from shore. Just wondering what works for bass on the lake. I'll bring the boat next time. []

Well I tried this lake the past week. One ranger told me they were getting some in the large bay to the right of the launch. The bay seems to stretch for a mile or so. Worked plastic worms and spinnerbait in white for 4 hours. Did get small hits [ pan fish i'm sure ] under a couple of docks I found. Tough lake as it only gets 6 ft deep at the most with very little weed to be found. I'll be back for sure but will try a creek in Edenton this coming week. Looks like a jig is preferred down here in NC.
