The next LGCG Metting will be scheduled for Sunday Aug. 28th. at the COA Building in Jackson Co. Park, Scottsboro, Al. at 3pm. The meeting we had Sunday turned out great with a lot of great suggestions on how to help the lake. We had Shawn McNultey from American Sportfish Hatchery there to talk about what it will take for a restocking process, and did a fantastic job in presenting the information to us. We also had Senator Steve Livingston and Representative Tommy Haynes along with some of the State Game Wardens, Alan Yates, Jim Kirkland, and Scott Kellenburger at the meeting and we want to "Thank" them very much for them taking time to be there to help us along and for their hard work and efforts since our last meeting. This showed us that steps are already being taken to help the lake just by the increase in Law Enforcement. We have a lot to discuss and go over at this next meeting and try to come up with some legitimate suggestions to take to the state board in Feb.
