Lower Provo
#1
I've been out on the lower Provo the last couple of nights (along with seemingly every other fisherperson in the region) and the caddis hatch has been very good. I haven't seen many fish caught till dark, but right at dark everyone does well. A few larger fish in the mix. My best last night was a 19 inch rainbow. I'll be out again tonight. If you are on the river as well, I'll be the person wandering around looking for an empty stretch of water. Let's make the most of late summer dry fly fishing!

I take your point. But once everyone already knows, no reason not to talk about it. I went back a third time and only caught a few. However I did hook a large fish which I lost after it got away from me running downstream in the current. Last week I was away for work, but I have wondered if the late hatch is still on. Have you tried the river lately?
