Well not too much to report. I took out of grasshopper around 630. Idled literally 30 seconds from the ramp and figured I would just start there for a few minutes. Very first cast a solid 2.5 choked the buzz bait and I thought man it's gonna be a good day. Well I continued to burn the buzz bait for another couple hours on several different spots. Had two more smack at it but wouldn't take it. Around 10 I ran to a pocket off the main channel infested with matted grass. With one little canal of open water. I picked up the buzz and on the first cast in that cut I landed another 2 lb fish. Those are the only two who would make it in my boat today. I tried some deep spots once the sun got high and hot but nothing happening for me. Early morning buzz bait in and around grass would be the only thing to produce any bites for me.
